Sincere thanks

Frank Tucker

Dear editor:
My Atikokan doctor referred me to La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances for surgery for stomach cancer.
On Dec. 7, 2011, they operated on the problem.
The nurses and doctors acted with kindness and professionalism while in their care. I had a rough time for two weeks but they were there all the time for pain and clean up.
I was told by other people it was a clean and happy place to be when you have problems.
On Christmas Eve, the Mennonite church sang Christmas carols to cheer us up. In my book, these people are truly God’s angels for making our spirits a little brighter.
Really, I thank this wonderful group of people for giving my life back to me. I was told in three months I would have been gone.
I would recommend this hospital to anyone in the area. Perhaps they’d get more cancer work to ease the pressure of bigger places.
Sincerely,
Frank Tucker
