Dear editor:
Canada Post states it is losing revenue. I know it is a national issue, but if issues like this are popping up in communities across the country, people will continue to turn away.
A glaring example is current mail delivery in the RR#1 area. If we receive mail delivery (that used to be daily) twice a week—and it is our own mail—then it has been a good week.
Without knowing what the issue is, my simple wish would be give us back our previous mail man—best mail man ever!
The only hope Canada Post has of maintaining a foothold in this electronic age is with employees like this mail man and the current inside counter staff, who are awesome, as well.
I know I am not alone in hoping whatever “the issues” are will be solved soon.
Meanwhile, if the flag is up and there is mail in the box when “whomever is delivering” appears, please take it with you—it has been misdelivered.
(Signed),
Valerie Hallam
