Dear editor:
A lot of people can’t understand how we came to have an oil shortage in Canada.
Well, there’s a simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn’t know we were getting low. And the reason for that is purely geographical.
You see, our oil is located in the oil sands of northern Alberta, off the east coast of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland under the Atlantic Ocean, and in the oil wells of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
But our dipsticks are all located in Ottawa.
