Dear editor:
This is the fourth election in seven years coming up on May 2. This one’s gonna cost $400 million.
Guess who gets to pay for it?
This election wasn’t necessary. This election was forced upon us by the Liberal and NDP parties. Just take a second to think about the cost—$400 million of your hard-earned tax dollars!
Neither of these parties can win a minority government on their own, and certainly the Bloc Quebecois can’t do it. So what are they trying to do, other than waste your tax dollars.
The only way they can win is to form a coalition.
Just so everyone knows this, the Bloc Quebecois members of Parliament will not enter the House until everyone else has finished singing “O Canada,” our national anthem.
Whether you like it or not, our kids are fighting a war overseas against terrorists that, if not checked, threaten our safety here at home. This is the respect they receive from our federal members of Parliament?
Yes, we actually have members of Parliament that have no respect for this country or its defenders.
Michael Ignatieff has said, if necessary, he will form a coalition with these separatists. We had better be ashamed of ourselves if we let this happen.
We must have a majority Conservative government to avoid this disaster. I ask that you remember this on May 2 (election day).
Anyone who would form a coalition with members that won’t respect our flag or our national anthem certainly should not be the leader of this great country.
Sincerely,
Doug Anderson
