Dear sir:
I would like to know why the board of the Fort Frances and District Association for Community Living will not start talks with CUPE #65 to settle this strike.
This cannot be working as why do they have to get people to do things (like doctor appointments, etc.) that the workers would do as part of their job.
The clients miss these people very much as they are like family. I feel very bad for the workers as I know how much they do for my son and the other clients.
They have been there for my son since he was a teenager and he is now in his 40s.
As a parent, I hope the board will get this settled.
