Dear editor:
I have lived here in Rainycrest for a little over three years now and have yet to experience one meal that I was totally dissatisfied with.
Keeping this in mind, I must give all the praise in the world to the Food Service manager for his excellent purchasing techniques and to his staff for their excellent preparation techniques, especially when considering that many different diets must be accommodated and that the ministry only provides them with a $7.25 daily allowance per resident.
However, I would like to see a program instituted which would provide a hot meal for working staff at a nominal cost. The money could be deducted from each paycheque and returned to the food budget.
Some staff members I have talked to say they would welcome such a program.
