Dear Mike:
Elizabeth II, who was crowned Queen of England in 1952, is now celebrating her Diamond Jubilee (60 years on the throne).
Our present St. Mary’s Church, built in 1952, also is celebrating its 60th year.
Well, now Class of 1952 graduates of Fort Frances High School are asking for a 60th reunion. Several out-of-towners have contacted me about planning one.
If we get enough former students from the years 1951, 1952, and 1953 interested, we will plan it. It probably would be held the weekend of Sept. 7- 8 (remember, graduation way back then was held in September due to provincial exam results).
This reunion is open to anyone, not just grads, who were in Grades 11, 12, and 13 in the year 1952.
