Real difference

During National Volunteer Week, the Canadian Cancer Society would like to thank each and every one of its many dedicated volunteers in Fort Frances.
Volunteers are at the centre of all we do at the Canadian Cancer Society. Without your tireless efforts and support, we would not be able meet our mission of eradicating cancer and enhancing the quality of life for people living with cancer.
Over the last year, you have raised $650,000 to fund the best and the brightest Canadian Cancer Society researchers, drove more than 320 people to cancer-related appointments travelling more than 53,000 km, offering encouragement, compassion, and helpful information to many people living with cancer in Northwestern Ontario, and much more.
We want you to know that your efforts are making a real difference in the lives of those touched by cancer. For all you do, we thank you.
