Dear sir:
It has come to our attention that the July 1 parade will start at the wood yard again this year. I do believe it was much better when it started at the C.N. Station. Much easier for seniors and disabled people in wheelchairs, where they can get close to the road.
People line up from Third St. and Central all the way past Safeway. Also they can park on the street for people who cannot stand too long.
There would be more children with their bikes and wagons decorated–stores are open.
And don’t forget about the Canadian Legion, American Legion, also the V.F.W. from the Falls, and our great Rainy Lake Hilanders Pipes and Drums.
