Micheal and Chantel Gallagher
Dear editor:
My husband and I recently were married in the community and had photos ordered online through the Walmart photo lab.
I ordered one set of prints and received them two days later.
To our surprise, we found out several days later that the identical prints of our wedding photos had been given to another member of our community with their photos.
A stranger; as neither of us knew this person. It just so happened that they recognized one individual in the photos, and they got passed on through three people before getting back to us.
This is a major breach in Walmart’s privacy and confidentiality policies. How does this happen? Our private family photos get in the hands of others to see without permission.
I am writing this letter to warn others in our community, especially parents, as I know I would be extremely mortified if children’s photos got into the wrong hands.
Signed,
Micheal and Chantel Gallagher
