Precious gems

Dear Mike:
On Friday, Oct. 24, the Friends of the Library held a “tag day” and would like to express thanks and gratitude to the following:
To the local businesses who allowed tagging outside their premises and for offering further help if it was needed.
To all the volunteers who, despite inclement weather at times, tagged throughout the day. Thanks and appreciation for a wonderful job.
The community of Fort Frances who so very generously supported the Friends of the Library “tag day.”
Last but by no means least, Marj McTaggart, Margaret Sedgwick, and Andrea Avis for their help and support in organizing this event. This was a first-time venture for us and the “tag day” proceeds, which amounted to $2,488.17, will benefit the Fort Frances Public Library.
Our library is a “lasting treasure” in our community, but the people who live here are precious gems. Thank you so much!
