Points to ponder

Dear editor:
In response to the $20,000 byelection for a successor to fill the empty councillor’s position, I’m sure most taxpayers would agree that Ken Perry should be in line to fill it.
Next up, Tannis Drysdale was a good councillor. She stood up for the people who put her there in our community.
So she had a traffic infraction! I’m sure there are a lot of people in this town who have been in the same spot, or worse, but didn’t get caught.
There are prominent citizens charged with all sorts of infractions but only certain names show up—not a fair trade-off. Why criticize ex-councillor Tannis, for what reason?
Is this some type of ploy to keep the media off the $20,000 byelection atrocity.
It also is rather strange that there is no mention in our paper of a certain person up for embezzlement in town.
I only hope our citizens stand behind our people that we vote for.
Now, as for attacking Mayor Roy Avis, saying that he is not taking proper care of the Town of Fort Frances business, is ludicrous.
Stating that he may be too busy with his personal life and business is wrong.
Why not give him a chance. If you, Mr. Krukoski, think you can do a better job, then you run for mayor.
I hope to see some response on these topics of interest.
Sincerely and
respectfully,
Ken Grynol
