Dear sir:
As I ponder the debate on smoking taking place in Fort Frances, I hope people realize that cigarette smoke is only one small cause of air pollution.
A few months ago, a train derailment in Minot, N.D. released poison gases into the air. There was death and injury as health departments urged people to remain indoors.
Given the toxic cloud looming outdoors, I wonder if anyone really cared if the establishment they were in was “smoking” or “non-smoking”?
