Overwhelming support

Dear sir:
I would like to express my thanks to the businesses, taxpayers, and residents of Emo for their overwhelming support following our letter to the editor last week, which directed the township to find a solution to the drainage ditch problem.
A representative from the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs suggested last week that a mediator could be of benefit to both parties. This suggestion had already been made to council.
At an unscheduled meeting at the municipal office on Wednesday night, I was informed that a fifth lawyer had now informed the township that items that need to be provided before execution of the subdivision could now be sent from the township to their lawyer in Thunder Bay.
Once more we are playing the waiting game. Echo Lake Estates has waited for three long years, and are prepared to wait no longer!
