Anne-Marie Armstrong

Dear Mike:
It is with a humble but grateful heart that this letter is being written.
The Christmas season can be a very hectic time with scurrying about to buy gifts, decorate, prepare food, and attend concerts and parties. We also are constantly being reminded how Christ is being taken out of Christmas.
But on Saturday, Dec. 10, the residents of Rainy River District proved that we do know—and practise the true spirit of giving.
Our agency was fortunate to be part of the second-annual “Stuff a Cruiser” campaign held in our district. The generosity which was shown was absolutely overwhelming.
We will be able to provide Christmas hampers to families in need, as well as filling our food bank.
The winter months can prove to be long and hard but thanks to the generosity shown on Saturday, we are going to be able to help when called upon.
Thank you to Cst. Anne McCoy, Rainy River District OPP detachment, for all her hard work in organizing this event. Thanks also to all the volunteers who make it happen.
We are proud to be part of the “Stuff the Cruiser” campaign and wish you all a blessed Christmas filled with peace, joy, and a Happy New Year.
Anne-Marie Armstrong,
on behalf of MNO Healing
and Wellness Branch,
