Outrageous

Dear sir:
So, after much designing and re-designing, we have a new facility with “state of the art equipment”–the theatre called Townshend Theatre.
This is great for our town. I was happy to see Natalie MacMaster is coming back to our town, and that she will be playing at the grand opening Sept. 20.
But $50 a ticket is outrageous! Will every show or act that is brought to town cost us that much to attend?! This will surely limit a lot of us “regular Joes” from attending if it costs $50 per ticket!
I am truly saddened by this price tag.

P.S. I realize this $50 ticket includes a reception but what if we just want to see the performer–not attend a reception!
