Only hope

Dear editor:
I’m amazed at how many people I still see talking on the phone or looking down at their lap texting while driving.
To the people on the phone, I would have to ask, “Do you feel you’re so important that the laws that apply to everyone else don’t apply to you?” Or do you feel your phone calls are so important that it’s okay for you to risk the lives of innocent people to make them?
Please put aside your delusions of grandeur and stop using your phone before you hurt some innocent bystander.
To the people who are stupid enough to be texting, I won’t waste my time asking you anything because you’re probably too stupid or ignorant to understand what you’re doing wrong.
My only hope is when you kill yourself, you don’t injure or kill an innocent person with you.
