Nuisance deer

Dear Mr. Editor:
I have been concerned about the deer roaming the town eating the gardens and flowers.
I know many enjoy seeing them, but last year they ruined my garden. This year, already they have eaten the tulips, which are a source of beauty.
I hear from a neighbour that someone driving around late in the evening counted 40 different deer. That started a concern for me because the deer carry tics, which will be dropped on the grass.
Tics carry diseases. They will be attacking our children, pets, and ourselves.
When I called the Ministry of Natural Resources, they said there was nothing they could do.
What are we going to do with so many deer roaming our town?
Sincerely,
Eileen Klymko
