My thoughts

Dear editor:
In last week’s Times I see the Manitou fish fry is taking place again. These walleyes are spawning fish, with a closed season on the same.
The law says natives can give the fish to you for no reimbursement of any kind. I think this is very liberal of our native people (would we do the same for them?)
In this land of free speech and thoughts, we are all born equal in the eyes of the law (or are we?)
I do not believe non-native people should eat these walleyes when the season is closed. These are my thoughts; what are yours?
