My apologies

Dear sir:
I apologize to Janis Flewelling and the citizens of Fort Frances who were offended by my accusation that the wallet stolen from me at the Super 8 Motel in town on Dec. 12 was taken by a resident of your community.
The possibility does exist that the thief was, indeed, a person from other than Fort Frances although the circumstances and time of the theft do not, in my opinion, make this seem very likely.
I wrote to this newspaper simply to make the people of your community aware of how this theft affected me in the hope that someone would have information which would help me recover my possessions.
Nevertheless, I do apologize for any hurt feelings that my letter may have caused.
