Moving to Mexico

Dear sir:
I wrote about this some time ago—and I see it’s still going on.
So just who gave the “Northwestern Health Unit” the right to ban smoking in all enclosed public places? The provincial government?
In small towns around Toronto, it is up to the municipal government. Does this mean the provincial legislature doesn’t think towns in the northwest can think for themselves? Looks like that to me!
Personally, I would tell them to go to hell. The municipal government imposed this on Toronto two years ago—and this year it’s the bars. I don’t go to restaurants anymore . . . and this year I won’t go to bars.
At the beginning of December, I was in Cancun, Mexico, and you can smoke in the shopping malls there. And I bet you thought this was a free country
That’s why I am moving to Mexico.

R. Berg
