More positive votes

Dear sir:
I was happy to record my vote on the Web poll question about Dr. Pete Sarsfield earlier this month, but found that I could not include the votes of my other six family members.
We are in total agreement with his move, albeit strong-armed, to make smoking in public places illegal.
This, in the long-term, will prove a major savings to taxpayers, especially if it encourages individuals to quit smoking altogether.
Once accepted by the business community, I am sure they will realize the savings to them as well—cleaner and better smelling establishments, less cost for air filtration, painting, and carpet replacement . . . only to mention a few.
