Medical ‘mistakes’

Dear sir:
Whoa! Look who’s calling the kettle black!
Considering the recent report of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority of 24,000+ deaths and 6,000+ “mistakes” made by the mighty medical profession, I can’t help wonder how the headlines would read if these “mistakes” were attributed to—heaven forbid—chiropractors.
Alternative health care, especially chiropractic, has suffered relentless hits and vicious attacks at the hands of the omnipotent medical institution—perpetually and suspiciously on the offence to protect and cover-up it’s own “mistakes.”
Imagine the uproar if alternative health professionals caused 24,000 deaths in a single year in this country (one would be hard-pressed to find any serious errors at all).
Undoubtedly, every office and clinic would immediately and forevermore be closed while the true heroes of preventive health care (not disease care) would be annihilated. Period!
Why sensationalize the rare “mistakes” by chiropractors and ignore the travesty and carnage left by our elite medical experts? Where’s the accountability to the grieving loved ones of sacrificial lambs?
This infuriates and nauseates me—better go take some Valium and Gravol.
Hmmm . . . big “mistake”! How ‘bout a chiropractic adjustment? Yes!
