I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all the volunteers who put in many hours at the WHO conference held in Fort Frances on May 6-9. The conference was a resounding success due to the hard work of many, many people.
The arena was turned into a spectacular display of colour and creativity. The delegates were astounded by all the personal touches throughout the arena. So many said they had never seen anything like it in all the years they had been attending conventions.
They also were taken with the warmth and friendliness of the community.
The delegates enjoyed meeting people in Rainy River District, and were most impressed with the fact the community came to the conference at all given opportunities, such as opening ceremonies, Culturama, and the closing ceremonies.
Many thanks, once again, to all those who helped to make this conference an unforgettable experience!
