On behalf of the La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary, I would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming response to our recent harvest fall tea.
Without the willingness of the membership to volunteer many hours, it would not been possible.
The food and baking was superb, the Lucky Dozen table did very well due to the generosity of donations from local businesses, and, of course, to all of you who came out to enjoy an afternoon and support the hospital auxiliary.
This is one of the events that enabled auxiliary president Irene Laing to present the Riverside Foundation for Health Care with a cheque for $20,000 towards the news digital mammography unit, as well as a cheque for $8,200 for a new jaundice meter.
