Major kudos

Dear editor:
I want to give major kudos to Cynthia Donald and her dedicated team for bringing back a wonderful day of fun and activities on July 1.
In spite of intermittent rain and a cool wind, everyone seemed to be wandering around, checking everything out at the Point.
The entertainment added that special element to the day and I personally want to thank Jacklynne and Gerry Guimond, Brittany Strachan, the “Chirpy Chicks,” and Dylan Ossachuk for their performances.
You were definitely crowd-pleasers!
Many, many hours were put in by Cynthia and her team to make this July 1, in particular, a very special one–and special it was!
What would we do without our volunteers who are so willing to give their time to bring our community together.
I personally want to thank all who were involved in any way this July 1. You truly deserve all the accolades you receive!
