With the snow disappearing and warmer weather coming, everyone likes to get out in it.
Last fall when walking down some of the streets that have sidewalks, and those that just have a road, you have to watch everywhere you walk so you don’t step in dog poop.
Also, on the walk along the river, which is such a great place to walk, someone had stepped in some and it was spread along the riverwalk.
What happened to the law asking people to bring a bag and scoop to pick up their dog’s droppings?
Going over to some friends’ house, there was dog poop right in front of their place on the street—and they don’t own a dog.
It’s great that people own one or more dogs, but please have a little consideration; keep our streets and roads clean.
Our walkway along the river is such a lovely thing. We are so lucky to have it.
Pop cans and plastic bottles are something else that shouldn’t be thrown around. There are always containers to dispose them in.
We have such a nice town and when the hanging plants are put up along Scott Street downtown and in the west end, they look so nice.
