Dear Mike:
In 1986-87, I was the chairman of the Fort Frances Pool Expansion Committee.
This committee raised a substantial amount of funds when local residents signed to make a monthly pledge for one, two, or three years towards this project.
Currently, I am president of the Friends of Kids Sports and I applaud the Multi-Use Committee for its vision and efforts.
Since the tennis court project will benefit kids and adults (including seniors), I think it’s time for locals to sign a pledge sheet at the Fort Frances Civic Centre to make a monthly contribution.
Finally, I hope the Rainy River District School Board will support the efforts of the Multi-Use Committee.
