Ironic

David Kircher

Dear editor:
This letter is in response to the comments attributed to the chairman of the Rainy River District School Board and its director of education in your April 1, 2009 article headlined “Kircher petition gains momentum.”
The board has responded to my requests, however, their answers either were out of context or not relevant to the questions asked; in other words, they did not answer.
I find it interesting that the director indicated the board has kept the Ministry of Education up to date with regard to the situations I have raised, and that the ministry has been satisfied with the actions the board has taken.
As far as I have been able to determine, the board has not taken any action, particularly with regard to the missing funds at Fort Frances High School.
Further, I find it ironic that the board can share information with the ministry, but not with its constituents.
In any event, to ensure the ministry is aware of the situations that concern us, all the correspondence generated between myself and the board will be included with the submission of the petition located at www.feduprr.ca
Thank you,
David Kircher
