Oct. 18-24 is Canadian Foster Family Week.
This week, we honour the foster families across the Kenora-Rainy River districts.
Our foster families are essential and without the constant care and commitment they provide, we would not be able to offer the protection that some children in our districts desperately need.
Foster parenting can be one of the most rewarding and fulfilling jobs a family can undertake.
We would like to extend our heart-felt appreciation to the dedicated foster parents and their families that give of themselves and their time with our children and youth.
These individuals and families deserve recognition and great thanks for the work that they do.
Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services commends our foster families and recognizes the invaluable role they play in providing services to the children in our communities.
