Dear editor:
I am responding to a letter written by Nicole Strachan Miller which appeared in the Fort Frances Times on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Nicole, you looked to the First Nation for monies yourself, otherwise you wouldn’t have had the opportunity to become a lawyer.
You don’t even know me personally, only what you are told. I would never entertain the thought of retaining your services because it is quite evident that you neglect to collect all the facts in a case before rendering a decision.
If you are so proud of your community Nicole, why did you get married in Manitoba? You just took advantage of the media coverage I was receiving in order to toot your own horn.
It is sad that the only way you can keep informed about the community you’re so proud of is through the Internet. Couchiching First Nations should have its own Web site, otherwise you’d actually make sense.
I really don’t care what your beliefs are Nicole as you don’t know me personally, nor do I appreciate your ignorance regarding band politics. Are you a parrot as well as a lawyer?
Yours truly,
Monica Morrisseau
Couchiching First Nation
