I would like to thank all 37 FFHS students and cafeteria staff who made time to participate in a recent fundraising effort for the people of Haiti.
A spaghetti dinner and silent auction was held last Thursday in the FFHS cafeteria, which was a huge success. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses that graciously contributed once again, and to the individuals who made donations of cash or to the silent auction table, we were able to donate more than $4,000 to the people of Haiti.
Our combined volunteer efforts made this possible, and this should make each of you feel proud and further understand how a seemingly huge project can become a reality by working together as volunteers for a humanitarian cause.
Thank you, also, to Mr. Donaldson for his gracious participation and to the people of the area who attended the dinner.
