Helping hand

Dear sir:
Do you have arthritis? I do, and I have changed from an athletic person who walked miles a day to a person who—some days—could barely walk.
Medicine and exercise have helped a lot. Talking to others with the same problems also is a relief.
That’s why I go to the Arthritis Society’s meetings monthly. The members know what I’m talking about. We have discussions, speakers, annual potlucks, and informal gatherings after the meetings.
Please come and join us this month—on Wednesday, March 31 at 2 p.m.—at the Knights of Columbus Hall (404 Scott St.)
We really do care about how you feel.
