Helpful suggestions

Dear Mr. Editor,
My name is Bobby Gillon and I’ve spoken with quite a few local residents and we’ve come to a seven-point solution to the town’s economic woes.
I’m not trying to interfere with the Re-inventing Fort Frances program, but instead I’ll be trying to invent the future of our area.
I wouldn’t want to think people, 100 years from now, might look back at our space in history and ask; Why didn’t they try something different?
The ideas include:
1. Red lights shining down on Ranier Rapids in spring, to give the effect of a river of fire;
2. Have plants, flowers, scrubs situated on store roof faces in the downtown core to give the town a nature effect;
3. Promote an exercise walk from the Fort Frances Museum to International Falls Museum across the bridge. It will only take 45 minutes with tours included;
4. International Armada Boats from both sides tour river to Rainy River and Baudette;
5. Move the tower at the Point to the Sorting Gap;
6. Move the Hallett to the unused park by Mosher Avenue; and
7. Make a walk over bridge to Ranier for summer use only.
