Help needed

Dear sir:
This is an invitation to all parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, and friends of this year’s graduating class of Fort Frances High School. Please help us plan the celebration these graduates deserve.
The “chem-free” grad is a longstanding tradition at FFHS, where the graduating class celebrates one last time in a supervised, safe, and “chem-free” environment.
The past two years, the format has changed and the party has been at the Memorial Sports Centre following the graduation ceremony. The graduating class enjoys a party complete with inflatable games, mock gambling tables, contests, food, and old-fashioned fun.
The celebration was well attended in 2001 by 117 graduates and in 2002 by 136. That’s more than 85 percent of those graduating classes!
It takes a lot of planning for a party of this size and the reason it can be done is because of the involvement of adults as well as the students. We need people’s ideas, enthusiasm, and time.
We realize that everyone cannot chair a committee or make every meeting, but we would love to have your input and presence at our next meeting. It’s amazing how a little effort by many can add up to a great celebration!
We realize that lives are busy but this is for our kids. It’s a good feeling to be there on grad night and know that our grads will be safe, with their peers, and making their last high school memory unforgettable.
