Heartfelt thanks

Dear editor:
Firstly, we would like to thank all of our faithful supporters (individuals, businesses, and service clubs) for all your generous support this past Christmas season. By donating to us this year, you have made many families enjoy their holidays.
Secondly, all the donations provided from you were used 100 percent this Christmas season throughout Rainy River District. Many people will enjoy the wonderful gift they have received and be blessed because you were so thoughtful.
And last but not least, we give our heartfelt thanks to you. By being able to witness the joyous expressions on the faces of the people who received hampers, we know that something right was accomplished.
And through this letter, we also are sending out their warm thanks.
As for those who helped us during the Christmas Kettle campaign, we would like to express our gratitude! Ringing the bells reminds everyone that the money donated will go to helping the community.
By the donations received, we reached our kettle goal of $10,000 this year!
And based on your mailed contribution and food donations, we helped 230 families, including 160 children, with the needed Christmas hamper. Forty families were adopted and 190 families were sponsored.
Thanks you very much for your support and blessings to all!
And remember, thanks to your efforts, our campaign, “Everyone Deserves a Christmas,” made a happy Christmas a reality to those less fortunate and from broken homes.
From all of us at the Salvation Army, we would like to wish you all the best in 2007.
(Signed),
Capts. Angel and
