Dear editor:
The Fourth of July (Independence Day in the U.S.) was a more complete success in Biwabik, Mn. (about 90 miles south of Fort Frances) because of the participation of the Fort Frances Highlanders.
What a wonderful bagpipe band. They were the hit of the parade.
The diversity of the group astonished all, the music was superb, and the marching lines were straight and true. While airing their bagpipes, you could see the smiles on the pipers’ faces.
Our hats are off to the professional performance of our neighbours.
