Hats off

Dear editor:
I attended the recent “Relay for Life” as a volunteer selling luminaries.
There was a group of youth volunteers who took responsibility for the assembly of the luminaries from start to finish, as well as the placing of the luminaries around the track in alphabetical order.
They spent the entire day and evening on this project. They were very well-organized, and each had a specific function they were responsible for.
This was a great showing of volunteerism. We should be very proud of these young adults, and let them know they were much appreciated and that they did an excellent job.
