Greatest joy

Dear sir:
I’m sure this is somewhat unusual to write a thank you in this manner but I feel this to be the appropriate forum.
On May 14, the Choraliers performed their Easter Cantata at St. Mary’s Church to a most appreciative audience. Although there was not the usual crowd due to the fact it was Mother’s Day, I was very pleased with the attendance.
Those who spoke with us afterwards had only the highest praise for the performance, which leads to my reason for this letter.
As the director of this musical group, I have the opportunity of watching the members develop their love of singing to the point of excellence. Although this is not an auditioned choir, the final performance is fine-tuned and very professional.
I personally wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the singers who so willingly gave of their time to make this event so special as well as to my accompanist, her assistant, our narrator, and all those who worked behind the scene before, during and after.
I couldn’t do it without all of you. Your performance and contribution were truly outstanding!
Hope to see all of you again, and even some new faces, for our Christmas celebration. Working with all of you is my greatest joy!
Signed,
Diane Maxey
