Great people

Dear editor:
Recently, myself and five other friends made a fishing trip from Wisconsin and Minnesota to Ontario. On our way through Fort Frances, we had the misfortune of having the axle break on one of our boat trailers.
Within five minutes, a very nice young local couple had come to our aid with a cell phone and phone book. The fire chief also was on the scene in a very short period, as well as other residents to lend a hand.
Within two hours, we were back on the road for what proved to be the best fishing trip of our lives.
Since we do not have the names of the young couple and other individuals who went out of their way to lend a hand, this letter is to say thanks. It is safe to say we will be remembered by those whom where on the scene by the logos on our T-shirts, “Stupid” and “I’m with Stupid.”
The citizens of Fort Frances are considered by us as some of the nicest we have ever met. Thank you for your help!
