Dear Mike:
A Christmas party for Rainycrest residents took place Friday afternoon.
Hallett Hall was set up for party time, with the fireplace crackling, Christmas music playing, and all the Rainycrest Auxiliary members decked out in their Christmas hats ready to have fun.
The residents were treated to a yummy snack, warm apple cider, and complimentary tidbits which they so enjoy every year.
Dear resident Edna Sololochuk sang a beautiful version of “O Holy Night,” which never fails to bring a tear to your eye!
Auxiliary member Diane Maxey accompanied a group who sang with residents many favourite Christmas carols.
When the jolly St. Nick arrived to “Here Comes Santa Claus,” it was just great to see our residents’ faces—smiles stretching from ear to ear as they looked forward to his visit with his sack of Christmas oranges.
Santa was the hit of the day, for sure, with his wonderful “Ho, Ho, Ho” and a chat with everyone.
As always, the Rainycrest Auxiliary came through with a great afternoon, with the usual help from the super Activation staff.
Sincerely,
Margaret-Ann Hudson
