Grateful

Dear editor:
I want to send my sincere thanks to all Fort Frances Lions Club members for giving me your help in finding the financial help I needed in order to receive the visual aid equipment I needed to resume some tasks that have been impossible for me to continue for some time now.
Reading novels and my portrait drawings are two of the things that are very important to me and with my magnifying lamp/stand, I have been able to return to my novels and to see fine detail that lets me continue to draw.
I also can even look up names and numbers in the phone book and read the newspaper again.
Thank you so much for caring enough to find the help that I needed. The “Community Chest” is so important to people who need the help that they may not otherwise get.
If it were not for people such as the Lions Club, it would be a pretty dark world for some of us.
