Good work

Dear Mike:
Our family wishes to express its sincere appreciation to the individuals and organizations who worked so hard to carry out a successful hosting of the national Midget hockey championship in Kenora last week.
The tournament committee and many, many volunteers deserve special mention for the time and effort they devoted to bringing such a high-calibre event to a small Northwestern Ontario community—allowing the people of Kenora and surrounding area to experience this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
They showed the rest of Canada that Northwestern Ontario can put on an event that equals, or betters, others in the country. Good work!
As the parents of one of the Kenora Stars players, we also want to express our gratitude for allowing our son and his teammates the opportunity to participate in this national event.
This has made lifelong memories for our family, as well as the rest of the families involved with the Kenora Stars organization.
Boys, you did us proud. You were all unbelievable! You showed everyone that you deserved to be in this tournament and that you have the potential to do great things.
The Kenora Stars organization is top-notch and proved it deserves a place among the best.
We have a large local contingency on the Kenora team (six boys from this district contributed to the success of the team). Special thanks to all of you who travelled from Rainy River District to watch the games and lend your support.
It meant a great deal to the boys and their families to see you there. You’re the best!
In sincere appreciation,
Pat & Donna Dittaro
