It is with great appreciation that I write this letter.
Back on March 16, The Bargain! Shop kicked off our third-annual Paper Egg campaign with Easter Seals Canada.
Nationally, we set a goal to raise $200,000, which was to be achieved by donations from The Bargain! Shop home office, associates, and our very loyal customers.
I am delighted to report that due to the enthusiastic efforts of our customers across Canada, we were able to exceed our fundraising goal.
With your support, we raised more than $211,000 by the time the campaign officially ended May 2.
All money donated will go towards a number of Easter Seals programs dedicated to increasing the quality of life for Canadians with disabilities, including the widely-known Easter Seals children’s summer camps.
Due to the unmatched generosity of our customers, more Canadians with disabilities will be accessing Easter Seals’ programs and services, which provide mobility and active living opportunities.
A very special thank you is extended to all of our Bargain! Shop customers who participated in this year’s event and made this achievement possible.
We count it a privilege to take part in such a rewarding fundraiser, and look forward to another successful event in 2010!
