Dear sir:
Friday, June 6 may have been just a normal day for some, but for the staff and members of the Li’l Eagles centre behind the old high school on First Street East, it was a very busy time preparing fish, salads, and pies for that evening’s fundraiser supper.
Some 150 people roamed in and out to savour the delicious fish, potato salad, wild rice casserole, taco salad, coleslaw, and bannock. And to top it all up, there was lemon meringue, blueberry, and apple pie.
It was a supper worth going to!
These fundraisers help support the Li’l Eagles program year-round, and continue to show support to all children with camp-outs, picnics, barbecues, a learning centre, and doing crafts.
Well done, Amanda Perrault and all her staff and members for all their hard work, patience, and dedication with all the children in all the youth groups. And also for promoting a fun, safe, and learning atmosphere for all.
They should all be applauded!
Signed,
Shirley Dolph
