I am trying to trace any descendants of Peter Douglas Craig and his wife, Christina Elder.
Peter was born in Scone, Perth, Scotland on July 27, 1866 and Christina was born in Perth on March 11, 1871. They married on Jan. 1, 1892 in Dundee. I recently have found out from another family member (in Victoria) that they settled in Rainy River District.
I am the granddaughter of Christina’s brother, William Fenton Elder, and I have been trying to do the family tree on the “Elders.” Christina was the first born of 17 children. Her sister, Grace, settled in Barwick and a brother, Thomas, settled in the U.S.
The rest of the family remained in Scotland.
I would appreciate any information from your readers to help complete the “tree.”
