False claim

Dear sir:
In the Jan. 14 issue of the Fort Frances Times, an article reported that Larry R. Richardson had stated that “he has garnered the support of longtime NDP’er, Owen Lindsay” for his bid to be the NDP candidate in the upcoming federal election.
This statement by Mr. Richardson is not based on fact and is a complete fabrication. Mr. Richardson has never at any time had reason to believe that I was supporting him; nor can he expect such support in the future.
