Everyone matters or nobody matters

Dear editor,

“Everyone Matters or Nobody Matters.”
Harry Bosch
Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated.
And just because you are right doesn’t make me wrong. And just because you are wrong, doesn’t make me right.
Every human being on this planet goes to bed at night with the hope and dream that tomorrow will be better, relative to their realistic wants and needs.
The difference within us can be our individual Grit.
Angela Duckworth describes Grit within 4 necessary traits.
1. A fascination and passion for something.
2. A willingness and perseverance to get up and work that fascination and passion.
3. Pursuing the above for more than just yourself.
4. A growth mindset along the way.
Grit will give you the traction towards opportunity when life is neither fair nor equal. When you realize that there are more good people willing to support your endeavor, yet in every noble movement or advancement there will always be those that set up road blocks.
It allows you to accept you are not alone, we all have unseen scars, some more than others. So it is not what we do not have, instead it is what we do with what we have.
Because as Victor Frankl told us and showed us about Choice. The only Choice we have, is the Choice to Choose.

Everything and Everyone Matters or Nothing Matters.
And it is our opportunity and responsibility, if we choose, to Galvanize and Franchise this magnificent and multi-faceted, multi-cultured area that we call Home.
Regardless of our race, color, sexual preference, age or religion.
Better Together. International Falls, First Nations, Emo and Fort Frances. That is the start. Start it, build it and the rest will join.
And when starting this Franchise find out what each asset wants, needs and why. And continue to ask the question why in order to pull back the layers of mistrust and fear and I believe we will find we all want the same things. Harmony, to feel safe and valued, opportunity and sustainability for all those that take responsibility that together we can be better.
The future of this area and its people matter. Everyone Matters or Nobody Matters.
Let’s Choose Wisely!
