Re: the memorial cross set up on Highway 11/71 just past the CN tracks and below the Superior Propane bulk plant.
We go to Fort Frances a couple of times a month, and we always are impressed by the decorations and flowers on that cross.
This cross, which was put there to honour a person who was killed at that spot, has been up for a few years now. But I know that it is a distraction for me because I always look to see what is up on the cross.
Unfortunately, it only takes a few seconds for a driver to be distracted, causing a car or truck to veer across the road and crash.
We all know how hard it is to lose a loved one. However, I personally think this cross has been up long enough and should come down immediately.
