On Friday, Feb. 13, the Friends of the Library held their annual Valentine bake sale at the Fort Frances Public Library. This event has been held every year at this time of the year since the group formed in 1997.
As convener, I would like to thank all the individuals who donated the delicious baking. I believe that this bake sale is the most wonderful one held in the district. As it is as close to Valentine’s Day as possible, everyone decorates their donations so beautifully.
Everything is sold out by the end of the day and we realized roughly $1,350 this year.
Special thanks go out to all the members of the Friends of the Library who work so hard, to the library staff, the Fort Frances Times, and all the individuals who come out every year to purchase the baking.
